Eagles land nine on all-SFL team

Del Oro's Golden Eagles placed nine players on the all-Sierra Foothill League football's first team and walked off with the three top individual player honors.

In voting by the league's coaches, senior running back Mike Makela was tagged as the SFL's Most Valuable Offensive Player. He was joined by teammates Hunter Pahl who was selected as the SFL's Most Valuable Defensive Player and Jason Heath who was named as the league's Lineman of the Year.
